Once I moved out of Los Angeles to a place where seasons exist my compulsive desire to buy crop tops seemed ridiculous.
I am here to tell you that I was wrong! Take advantage of all the summer & fall sales of those skimpy tops!
There are two keys to making your fancy crop tops justifiable:
1) Buy something that is distinguishable, not just a plain tee crop top. It has to have a design, cool material (velvet, mesh, leather, etc.), or have a super flattering cut.
2) Own an awesome coat. With a great coat, black leggings and black boots all the attention will be on your top half. Your coat will keep you looking fresh when you wanna freeze and hopefully allow a peak at your fancy crop top. Then when you're inside, your plain outfit makes your crop top the star;]
