Platforms, boots, and heels alike are crying out to be torn apart! I'll admit, at first I found this trend as a shameful waste of leather and suede. Somehow this lack creates a cornucopia of fun for winter (and soon to be spring) outfits. Here in Seattle it is now nice to have a new option to pair your knee high socks and ripped tights with something other than a combat boot.
